Unique creations from nature by Elizabeth and Ed Anderson

Elizabeth and Ed Anderson have lived and worked on the family farm in west central Illinois for over 35 years. Their creations come from the resources that the farm provides. These include handcrafted furniture, gourd art and one of a kind wood sculptures. The materials are sustainably harvested and ecologically managed with guidance from the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources. The species of wood commonly used are black cherry, various oaks and walnut. 

The pieces are unique since they are designed from natural forms and shapes. Browse through their portfolio and see a variety of art forms.

Elizabeth creates realistic and stylized wooden carvings from photos and sketches. These include relief and 3-D wood carvings.  

Ed uses the natural shapes of limbs to create his tree branch shelving and rustic furniture.
